Welcome to Dax’s Joint, where cold drinks, good food, and great times have been served in Jerseyville, IL, since 2016. As generational bar owners, we pride ourselves on cultivating a family-like atmosphere, offering a variety of family-friendly functions, cocktails, beer, and delicious meals. Our community-focused approach lets us give back to Jerseyville while growing our business. Stop by to enjoy our private gaming room and indulge during our kitchen hours: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday- Friday and 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM on Saturday. Welcome to Dax’s Joint, where your neighborhood, your people, and familiar good times come together in Jerseyville, IL. Since opening our doors in 2016, we have been proud to create a welcoming place where friends, families, and neighbors can gather for great food, cold drinks, entertainment, and plenty of conversation. As generational bar owners, hospitality is more than a business to us—it is part of who we are. We understand the importance of knowing our customers, remembering familiar faces, and making everyone feel like part of the family.
At Dax’s Joint, we offer much more than a traditional bar experience. Our menu features hamburgers, wings, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and a kid’s menu, with lunch and dinner service available throughout the week. Guests can also enjoy our full bar featuring liquor, beer, wine, cocktails, pickle shots, pepper shots, and seasonal wine slushies. Whether you are stopping in for a quick carryout meal, catching the big game, enjoying our outdoor patio, or settling in for an evening of fun, there is always something to look forward to.
Entertainment is a big part of what makes Dax’s Joint special. We offer live sports, dart boards, casino-style games, slot machines, poker, a private gaming room, and Extreme Bar Bingo every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. We also welcome private events and parties, making our space a great choice for celebrating with friends, family, and coworkers. We even sell lottery tickets, giving our guests another reason to stop by.

Good place if you are wanting to try something new! They have slots in a private area so you have privacy. The bar is nice and long with many seats. The food is fast and fresh. If you are wanting to try something new and be seen as family try Dax’s joint!
